Oslo Pass

About us

oslo-pass.com is a multilingual information and purchase site for the Oslo Pass. The Oslo Pass is the official city card for Oslo. It is issued by VisitOSLO, the city's official tourist information office. The card combines free entry to more than 30 museums and attractions with unlimited public transport in zones 1, 2, 3, 4V and 4N and the ferry to Bygdøy, and is available with validities of 24, 48 or 72 hours.

Two details shift the Oslo arithmetic more than the length of the museum list does. The first is the airport. The pass carries you to and from Gardermoen on the VY local trains, though not on the Flytoget express, so the journey into the city and back out again can already be paid for before you visit anything at all. The second is the calendar. The ferry across to Bygdøy, where the Fram and Kon-Tiki museums stand, runs roughly from March to October, and outside that season the peninsula is reached by bus 30 instead, which is worth knowing before you plan a winter museum day around a boat. We set out what the pass includes, what it covers across Ruter's buses, trams, T-bane and local trains, and how the code that arrives by email turns into a working pass in the Oslo Pass app.

What this site is not

oslo-pass.com is an independent guide. We are not the official website of VisitOSLO; the official pass information is at visitoslo.com. We are not a hotel or general travel portal, and we deliberately leave out hotel booking and tours without a pass connection. We do not sell the pass ourselves: bookings are completed with our partner Tiqets, and their current prices, availability and terms apply.
